- Device information: IP address, browser type, device type (for security and compliance logging)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To assist with Medicare, ACA, and insurance plan selection
- To communicate with you about your coverage options via phone, email, and text message
- To comply with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulatory requirements
- To generate Scope of Appointment documentation and compliance records
- To coordinate with insurance carriers for enrollment processing
- To send appointment reminders, renewal notifications, and plan updates
3. How We Protect Your Information
- All personal health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Digital signatures and compliance records include timestamps and IP addresses for audit purposes
- Access to client data is restricted to your assigned licensed insurance agent and authorized staff
- Compliance documents are retained for a minimum of 10 years per CMS requirements
